Rachael, a Registered Psychologist, brings over sixteen years of private practice expertise, totaling more than 12,000 hours of providing psychological therapy to diverse clientele, spanning various age groups from young children to older adults.

Rachael has undertaken a number of psychological research studies including:


  • BSc: The fear of crime in  eyewitnesses (The University of Leeds, UK);
  • MSc: The use of visual stimulus in the recall of child eyewitnesses (York University, UK).
  • PhD: A Constructivist Grounded Theory 'The Differential Emotional Processing Theory of Maladaptive Daydreaming' (Charles Sturt University, Australia).


Additional research interests involve investigating various topics such as the disparate emotional processing of maladaptive daydreaming, eyewitness memory, virtual reality therapy, ethical decision-making, the nurturing of early-career psychologists, and the formulation of trauma-focused mental health strategies tailored to health-related issues.
